Paula Black recently joined Lawson Software as a Solutions Consultant to lend her industry expertise to selling and promoting global Talent Management solutions. She previously worked for Hewitt Associate’s Payroll Outsourcing group in a Practice Leadership role and directing a client delivery team that processed weekly payroll for 34,000 employees in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and Canada Paula has over 15 years of payroll experience managing all aspects of payroll production including payroll tax filing compliance and accounting. She has also worked as a consultant implementing payroll systems and reengineering business processes for organizations of all sizes and in various industries.

Paula has been a member of the American Payroll Association (APA) for over 5 years. She currently serves on the Chicago Chapter’s Membership Committee. She is also an instructor for the chapter’s Fundamentals of Payroll Certification review classes.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Roosevelt University in Chicago IL.

Bob Fisher was a Practice Leader in Hewitt’s Payroll Outsourcing group prior to his recent retirement. During his 20-year tenure with Cyborg (which was purchased by Hewitt), Mr. Fisher was responsible for helping clients implement Cyborg’s payroll solutions and globalize their payroll systems. Prior to joining Cyborg, Mr. Fisher was employed with Reliance Electric Company.
